1 823 Backing up tones-2 779 Can i sync Spark tones across multiple devices. Only later did I find this subreddit and other forums where people complain about a whole mass of issues, from sound quality, to long delivery times, to it arriving broken, and more. 2 1046 Can I load presets from BIAS FX 2 into Spark 1 895 3 Downloading and saving tones from tonecloud. So, I ordered the amp last week after reading/watching some good reviews, and being absolutely star-struck with the apps and amps capabilities. 1 1052 Spark How to Build Tones and Use ToneCloud. I think that it would be very beneficial for PG to show that you take care of your Customer's Earing. The 5 Best Positive Grid Spark Amp Tones from Tonecloud. that's why I asked for a 'kind of global volume limiter', or alternatively an option in the App that would allows us to 'seal/override' the virtual 'Volume' knob of the amps in order to keep it at the same value even if we switch from one preset to the other (that would solve the ToneCloud problem). If i use Bias FX with a computer monitor, its hard to tell how much the difference in tone can be attributed to the difference between the monitor and the built. Its hard for me to compare the sound because Spark is sounding through a built in speaker. Perhaps you could try and adjust the amp/preamp gain knob in the preset. Bias FX has a lot more customization, whereas Spark has a more limited selection of effects. Re: Does anyone know if there is a Spark Amp Tone Cloud forum for Spark users to discuss and evaluate the available tones on Tone Cloud by song, artist or genre I just got my Spart amp and viewing the possibilities and 10,000 options is pretty daunting. So, keep the lights on with your equipment - it helps everything live longer and sound better. It would be nice to add an overall 'volume limiter' (at least when using Headphone) in order to avoid Ear Loss ! But a purely electronic piece like a power amp or preamp are better left powered on at all times - with but few exceptions. I had to turn down the Amp 'Volume' knob to compensate, but each time I use a ToneCloud preset it blow my ears ! :/ (and perhaps, it could affect the tone ?) In fact, I had to turn it up, then down a little bit to achieve an acceptable volume. If you want to upload your new sound to the cloud you select 'Share to ToneCloud.' 0. and a menu opens up with the options Overwrite, Save as New, Share to ToneCloud, Delete, Save to Hardware. This way, anything made with/for spark will work with any spark amp. Once youve got a sound you like on your Spark Amp, you tap the 3 dots in the upper right of the screen where you alter the effects, amp simulation, etc. I turned down the 'Output' knob to 0, then slowly turned it up but it goes from 'nothing' to 'pretty loud' really fast (the knob is at the '8 o' clock' position). Nope, bias has a larger set of different simulated effects, amps, etc while spark has fewer, so custom tones would often be incompatible for that reason. With access to 50,000+ Amp-and-FX presets on ToneCloud, Spark gives you a full guitar amp modeling and multi-effects engine, powered by Positive Grid’s state-of-the-art BIAS with the most realistic virtual tube amps and effects on the planet. I already submitted a ticket explaining this : I have the same exact problem, for me even at the lowest 'Output' knob setting it is pretty loud ( I mainly use Headphones) In September 2015, the CEO of the now-defunct Peanut Corporation of America, Stewart Parnell, was sentenced to 28 years for his role in covering up a 2008 salmonella outbreak that killed nine and infected another 714 people across 46 states. More than 128,000 people are hospitalized and about 3,000 die from infections the federal government says are largely preventable. The Food and Drug Administration estimates that every year, 48 million people – one out of six Americans – suffer from food-borne illnesses. The company has been reintroducing products since August 2015 in Oklahoma and Texas. In older adults and those with compromised immune systems, those symptoms can develop into meningitis or a serious infection of the blood called septicemia.īlue Bell recently announced plans to continue its market reentry by filling stores with Blue Bell ice cream products in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, among others, beginning January 18. The CDC says older adults, pregnant women, newborns and those with weakened immune systems are most at risk. It’s especially dangerous because, unlike many other germs, it can grow in the cold temperature of a refrigerator or a food processing plant. Listeriosis is a potentially fatal infection caused by the germ listeria, which is found in soil, water and some animals such as poultry and cattle, including raw milk. Robert Tauxe, deputy director of the CDC Division of Foodborne, Waterborne and Environmental Diseases, told CNN last April.ĬDC says Blue Bell listeria outbreak dates to 2010 The origin of the strain was then unknown, but “the fact that it was the same strain over the last five years suggests it could have lurked somewhere in the factory the whole time,” Dr. The agency connected patients from 2010-2015 to the current outbreak through comparisons to a database of bacteria DNA. However, an investigation by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed the listeria outbreak dated back to 2010. Prosecutors are examining whether company executives committed wrongdoing in their handling of the outbreak.īlue Bell Creameries has not responded to CNN’s request for comment.Īfter weeks of gradual recalls, Blue Bell recalled all its ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbet and other frozen treats sold in 23 states on April, 20, 2015, after it said listeria was found on the lid of a food service cup the month before. Some people report feeling like they’re drowning in their own secretions and, if you don’t move out of the cloud, more mucus will only give the powder more to stick to. It’s a defense mechanism, but it will, paradoxically, make the symptoms even worse. You’ll start coughing automatically and your nose and mouth will secrete copious amounts of mucus and saliva, respectively. The powder also irritates your airways, making it hard to breathe, and causes your chest to tighten. It gets worse the longer you’re in the gas: After a few seconds, you won’t be able to see, which will disorient and confuse you, potentially to the point of emotional and psychological distress.īut that’s not all. When you’re exposed to tear gas, your eyes sting, your vision blurs, and you cry and blink uncontrollably. When a tear gas canister explodes, CS powder sprays into the air and adheres to any moisture it can find-that means the tears in your eyes, the sweat on your skin, the grease in your hair, and the saliva and mucus that covers your mouth and airways. The active component in tear gas-2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile-targets a specific receptor in the body called TRPA1, which serves mainly to send pain signals to the nervous system. Rohini Haar, an emergency physician, and a research fellow at the Human Rights Center at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. “People just assume it’s safe, it’s important to know that these weapons actually do cause injuries,” says Dr. Nowadays, tear gas is part of the crowd control arsenal of police and law enforcement agencies around the world, because it’s an easy way to disperse masses without the use of direct force. This chemical was first developed in 1928 by American scientists, and after years of studies, it eventually became a weapon widely used by the U.S. Tear gas 101Ĭontrary to its name, CS gas-the technical name for tear gas-is actually a crystalline powder that is converted into a fine spray and propelled from a grenade or canister by a small pyrotechnic explosion. Protecting yourself and others should always be your top priority, and being prepared is by far the best way to start. with the First Amendment.Īnd even though protesting is your right and you may have every intention of keeping things peaceful, it’s also important to know what to do if those canisters start hissing. This universal right is included in most countries’ constitutions, too-such is the case in the U.S. Protesting is protected in most parts of the world by Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which endows people with freedom of speech and expression. This may sound like something you won’t necessarily have to face, but it’s been happening for years and it’s happening right now around the world-people are being violently repressed and gassed during protests in places such as Hong Kong, Ecuador, Chile, Barcelona, and Lebanon. When this happens, the result is nearly always the same: protesters get stuck in a thick, choking cloud of tear gas. Anyone who has ever followed the news knows peaceful protests and demonstrations can quickly turn into dangerous affairs. Nissan responded to this just as it did to the tidal wave of competition thrown against the five-seat-only third generation Qashqai model that shares virtually all of this car's engineering. So many in fact that by 2017, quite a few rival brands had piled into this SUV market sub-segment with fresh products aimed at meeting this demand, examples being the Skoda Kodiaq, the Peugeot 5008 and the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace. An awful lot of family buyers, it seemed, liked the idea of a mid-sized Qashqai-class crossover, but needed one with a little more space and the option of a third seating row. If you included the US market (where this car was badged as the 'Rogue'), by 2017 over three-quarters of a million X-Trails were being sold globally every year, which back then made this easily the brand's best selling vehicle worldwide. Which proved to be an inspired piece of product positioning. To leave space for that car, this third generation X-Trail, launched in 2014, was made a little bigger and given a 7-seat option. Back then, this model line competed in the section of the SUV market that Nissan by 2017 was covering with its hugely successful Qashqai. Brands who'd anticipated this phenomenon found themselves perfectly placed to take advantage of it and Nissan was one of them, having campaigned with the X-Trail crossover since 2001. In 2017, this was a model that found itself plumb in the middle of the new car market's trendy sweet spot, with sales of SUVs by then out-stripping those of every other segment. To consolidate its position, this third generation model was usefully improved three years after launch to create the car we're going to look at here. And back in 2017, this was the world's best selling one, the Nissan X-Trail. In this updated form, it was smarter, more sophisticated and better connected too. X-Trail buyers though, get significantly more space, with the option of seven seats in a model that's slightly tougher and more suitable for more adventurous families. The post-2017-era facelifted version of Nissan's third generation X-Trail matured very nicely as a family-sized SUV that sat just above the brand's popular Qashqai in the company's line-up and borrowed much of its technology from that best-selling car. The server is also becoming very popular and they have a discord with 30k+ last I checked and ever growing. If you’re solo it’s at least one full outfit per hour it’s insanely good. For example sausans average in a full group 12-20 boxes per hour and 40+ solo. Bosses are kinda buggy sometimes but the devs are there super quick to respawn the bosses for us. You’ll never struggle after that for pearls or money. Lots of pearl boxes once you go from mansha/ catfish man and beyond. Great exp and enhance rates which still make it feel rewarding but not impossible. Just watch out for some of the griefing guilds, they will give you a hard time on world bosses.ĬDO is the way to go. If you don't mind spending some of your hard earn cash though i'd say retail is better.īiggest selling point for me though was that CDO is a fresh server, 56+ and awakening etc is not getting released until the 11th so except for some of the no-lifers you feel very close to the other players in terms of power. I would highly recommend CDO if you wish to play the game right now and have access to all that the pearl shop gives you without spending real money and don't mind some bugs here and there (which are all heavily being worked on). You can grind for pearls and they drop in a very fair amount but you can also donate for pearls or subscribe for some benefits (which are in no way pay to win in my opinion). CDO is buggy right now but more than playable. It has slightly higher rates then retail but nothing like Gamez. I WILL IGNORE YOU IF YOU DON'T.īeen playing CDO for the two weeks its been up. Pick your favorite and go conquerĬhoice of Allies: Any Rival of Poland, Lithuania and the commonwealth in the early game. Scandinavia, India, Ottoman European provinces and the Beijing region of Ming seems to be the most obvious choices. Once you get religious ideas, decent patriarch authority, missionary strength and a nice tech advantage you can go crazy and start conquering horde territory (more on the ideas below).Īfter conquering all the horde lands in East asia the path of expansion is up to you and what seems most opportune. If the right opportunity presents itself, use the humiliate CB and grab some power projection and ducats by humiliationg any horde rivals. The unconvertable lands will most likely be an unnecessary drain on your manpower and monarch points and apart from the gold mine in Bashgird they won’t deliver may benefits to your nation due to culture and religion penalties. Until you got the religious idea groups, try to limit expansion into the muslim horde territory. If the commonwealth proves to strong for you, you could consider expansion into northern India or China at later stages of the game as an alternative.Īnnex your small vassals and conquer the Russian OPMs, whenever you got some spare monarch points in between the wars. Be prepared to take out loans for mercs if your manpower expires. Ideally attack while they are busy fighting the Teutonic order. Unless you get very lucky and Poland is confronted by multiple enemies, the first war is going to be very tough. Furthermore in southern Lithuania you’ll find a few nice farmland and grassland provinces ideal for institution and manpower development, which you sorely lack in the east. These provinces will be ideal for the strength of your empire as you won’t suffer the wrong culture penalties nor face very many rebellions in these lands. The goal is to grab as many of the provinces that share your culture group and have the Orthodox religion as you possibly can in the early game. Your secondary target should be Poland and Lithuania. Try to do so before your claims on his provinces expires. You can finish the conquest of Novgorod in a second war when the truce expires. You don’t want Lithuania or Denmark to get any bright ideas and grab any clay that rightfully belong to you. Assuming you win the war with 100 % war score make sure to grab all provinces adjacent to the western neighbors. Consider deploying a few mercs for the first war on the front lines to limit the manpower losses. Be careful to minimize your losses as your manpower is limited and the attrition in the north is horrible. This will give you free claims on all his lands. Starting as Muscovy your opening move should be to accept the mission to conquer Novgorod. However any nation in position to form Russia or to conquer the World (Ottomans) could in theory go for this achievement as well. The part of the guide describing the opening moves is written for Muscovy. The easiest choice for this achievement is Muscovy, due to the Russian national idea set. If confident you should do it on a harder difficulty as well For an extra challenge more experienced players can attempt to beat that. Using the strategy below I finished the achievement in 1747 in 1.18 on normall difficulty. The ladder is welcome to add to the guide below though The achievement might be tough for newer players, but hopefully not impossible if you follow this guide. If you are completely new to the game or very experienced, this is probably not the guide for you. PDF Converter PDF to Word PDF to Excel PDF to Powerpoint PDF to Image JPG to PDF. The advantage for the dual card Maingear and the Origin Genesis comes primarily if you want to play at higher resolutions across two monitors. Again, anyone with a single 1,920x1,080-pixel-resolution monitor would be happy with these frame rates. The bigger loss for the Falcon comes on our gaming charts. The Tiki is a reasonable value, but you won't be able to overcome its single graphics card limitation. That argues for the dual card-capable Maingear as the better way to spend your $2,800 to $3,000. But I'd be willing to bet that most gamers shopping in this price range will prioritize 3D frame rates above most other features, even if that means a larger case. I imagine some of you are in the market for the best slim-tower gaming PC you can find, regardless of price. The Tiki seems to make up for the higher price with a 256GB solid-state hard drive and a Blu-ray drive - the Maingear has only a 60GB solid-state drive and a plain old DVD burner. Then again, the larger, still-trim Maingear F131 has a pair of GeForce GTX 680 cards, and it only costs about $200 more than this Tiki. The Geforce GTX 680 card in our review unit can play any game on the market at 1,920x1,080-pixel resolution with reasonably high, if not maxed-out, image quality. I say potentially because many gamers might not care. You also don't need to use the granite at all.Ģ56GB SSD, 2TB 5,400rpm Western Digital hard driveĦ0GB Corsair Accelera SSD, 2TB 7,200rpm Seagate hard driveĪ potentially larger problem for the Tiki is that it can't support two graphics cards. Falcon offers a black option that might look better. It also makes the Tiki look like an employee-of-the-month award, at least with the light-gray version included in our review unit. I will not disagree that the granite serves its functional purpose. The solution, Falcon Northwest has decided, is to include a custom cut-and-polished piece of granite that you can screw into the bottom of the unit. That means it's top-heavy, and prone to falling over. However innovative the interior, the overall design of the Tiki is taller and narrower than the X51. Our review unit will cost $2,793 when Falcon starts taking orders at the end of June. It also doesn't charge over $1,800 for any configuration of the X51. Liquid cooling is important, because it helps Falcon Northwest manage internal temperatures well enough that it can overclock the Tiki's third-generation Core chips. While the X51 has a massive 330-watt external power brick, the Tiki has an internal 450-watt power supply, as well as liquid cooling hardware. It also seems to have improved on Alienware's concept. Falcon Northwest borrows heavily from the Alienware X51 here, adopting a similar slim-tower design in the Tiki, and the same full 3D card connected via a PCI Express daughter card. |
